Job Description :
- Develop and support MySQL databases in multiple LAMP environments ( Development / QA / Production).
- Create and modify tables and indexes on MyISAM and InnoDB storage engines Query writing, analysis and performance tuning create Routines and Stored procedures as and when needed.
- Monitor and Optimize MySQL database performance.
- Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of MySQL/MariaDB databases
- Database migration between various development, testing and production environments.Manage application-specific fault-tolerant distributed database systems ( multi slave replication setup)
Required Qualifications :
- Experience in Database Design and Development (Table creation and modification, writing Stored procedures, Triggers etc).
- Experience with writing analyzing and performance tuning of complex queries spanning multiple tables.
- Experience with multi master and multi slave replication ( knowledge of clustering and proxying a plus ).
- Experience with Mysql/MariaDB database configuration and tuning.
- Experience with MyISAM and InnoDB Storage Engines.
- Experience with Backup and Restoration of large databases in production environments.
- Experience working on RHEL/CENTOS linux based server systems.
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Perl or Python desirable
